The modern deluxe double room we stayed in had a nice balcony, and its location was very convenient.

Quiet street, attentive staff, good location.
Shower was dangerous - cold and hot water out of control. Heating was off for most of the day and evening. Beds are awfully uncomfortable and "screaming". We received no notification that the hotel would be closing for one year renovation, and the last day would be half day service, so we could not leave our luggage for couple of hours after check-out on our last day there.

Really nice stay, no complains at all, we can't recommend highly enough. Pleasant hotel, it has exclusive restaurant and wonderful location close to metro stops. A nice touch is also the free soft beverages in the honesty bar. The property provides an exceptional service.

The painter Francisco Goya once lived in the building and the building had a lot of character and history with a great view of the Comedie de l'Opera. Breakfast was very good.
Room was small and needed updating. Elevator was cramped. Stair seemed to lean slightly one way. To me this was "Vieux Paris" but it is not for everyone.

Location is perfect: 2 min. walking to Opera. 24h reception; Staff is proactive and helpful; twin bedroom room was comfortable: old fashioned, but clean and the bathroom big. Wifi service fast and free; breakfast not continental (only sweet) with no refill, but copius with possibility to be served directly in the room.
Nothing particular to outline: hotel is defined as boutique, but at first feeling looks more old styled; staff helpful, despite on night-duties sometimes personal doesn't speak English.

The restaurant is beautiful for dinner. I liked the beautiful decor. - the staff were competent and helpful with every request. - the location is nice, with the Louvre Museum a medium distance away. - There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby to try.

The location. Everything is more or less in reasonable walking distance.
The breakfast was too simple, they bring you a tray with a small box of cereal, a crossiant, one glass of coffee, and a glass of orange juice. I am all for continental breakfasts but this one was too simple. The staff also were not very friendly except one woman who worked behind the front desk.
